The Andre Iguodala Basketball Camp was successful once again in 2007, as it was held between July 30 - August 3 in Springfield, Illinois.

The Andre Iguodala Celebrity Weekend



Springfield native and NBA-star Andre Iguodala hosted his third annual Celebrity All-Star Weekend August 3-4, 2007. The weekend featured a live comedy show on August 3 and a celebrity softball game on August 4.

    The Andre Iguodala Youth Foundation provided 100 families Thanksgiving Dinner baskets. The event took place at the middle school which Andre attended, Franklin Middle School in Springfield, Illinois on Saturday, November 17, 2007. Baskets included 20-22 lbs turkeys, fresh pumpkin pie, dressing, canned veggies, cranberries, dinner rolls, and macaroni and cheese.

    On behalf of the Andre Iguodala Youth Foundation and the many volunteers, we wish our Soldiers in Iraq who will not be home with their families our prayers for a safe return. Blessing for a safe holiday to all the families who will be home with their families.

    On Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, the Andre Iguodala Youth Foundation gave away 100 turkeys to the Springfield Southeast High School for Thanksgiving.

    The event helped to provide families with assistance during the holiday season, and to provide an outlet and encourage youth to get involved in community service. Students actively involved in school helped give away the turkeys.
