His full name is Andre Tyler Iguodala (Son of Linda Shanklin and Frank Iguodala) and star forward of the Philadelphia 76ers. Andre majored in Education at the University of Arizona. His humanitarian efforts are comprised of events such as his participation in the 76ers Drive for Kids program 3 years in a row. He has also hosted Andre Iguodala's Book Drive in '06 & '07 leading to the donation of over 2,600 new children's books. Additionally Andre hosted a Caps for Kids Drive which brought in over 1,400 new hats which were donated to local children's hospitals and established the Andre Iguodala Disaster Relief Fund in March of '06 for tornado victims in Springfield, Ill. and donated an additional $35,000 for the relief effort in his hometown of Springfield. Andre was named on of the Sporting News 2006 Good Guys for his charitable efforts on and off the court.
